OpenText Still Dominates the FoIP Server Market

In its latest report on the Fax over IP (FoIP) server market, Davidson Consulting again recognised OpenText as the leader. With close to a third of total market share, OpenText led its closest competitor by nine percent.

Industry news provider Telecom Reseller reported “OpenText is once again the leading FoIP supplier as it had a 32.9% worldwide market share for 2012… The OpenText RightFax brand is clearly the leading FoIP server brand, as the company also led in production FoIP servers and in the United States FoIP server market.”

The report – “Fax over IP Server Markets: 2012-2017” – analyses providers of FoIP servers, fax boards and software that emulates fax boards, and includes a five-year market forecast. While the overall FoIP market is experiencing slowed growth, Davidson predicts it will continue to grow at a 10.2% compound annual growth rate by 2017.
