RightFax – Supported Versions – July 2013

As of 1st July 2013, the following versions of OpenText RightFax are considered as ‘current’. We may be able to support earlier versions and/or revisions, but advise upgrading to avoid potential issues. Please contact your Account Manager if you need to upgrade or have any questions.

• RightFax v10.5 – Latest Version: Feature Pack 1, SR2
• RightFax v10.0 – Latest Version: SR4
• RightFax v9.4 – Latest Version: Feature Pack 1, SR4

OpenText has a well defined lifecycle for the maintenance of RightFax. The lifecycle runs as follows:

Current Maintenance – For approximately 18 months after release of the subsequent version, the software is fully supported; defects can be reported; Hot Fixes, Patches and Service Packs are produced; Enhancement and Feature Requests are accepted.

Past Maintenance – After the end of Current Maintenance, the software is supported; Product defects and enhancement requests may still be reported, but work by the core development team on these issues will be discontinued; Hot Fixes, Patches and Service Packs are not produced.

End of Life – Once the Past Maintenance period is complete, OpenText no longer provide support for that version of the software. At this point, ProcessFlows continue to support that version of the software on a Reasonable Endeavours basis.

For reference, the current Maintenance Lifecycle dates are as follows:

• RightFax 10.5 – Supported – Will enter Past Maintenance status 36 months after release of a subsequent version.
• RigthFax 10.0 – Supported – Will enter Past Maintenance status on July 17th, 2015.
• RightFax 9.4 – Supported – Will enter Past Maintenance status on May 31st, 2014.
