The RightFax Connector for SharePoint is available for SharePoint 2007, 2010 and 2013, as an add-on module (for RightFax v10.6).
Organisations utilise Microsoft SharePoint Server for content management, enterprise search, and business process enablement. Because a captured fax image is typically the beginning of a business process needing automation and sending a fax often is the final step of a process, fax images imported from RightFax automatically populate configured SharePoint libraries, so users can select files for additional business processes using OCR or other data workflow systems.
RightFax users can create fax documents in Microsoft Office, send them out as a fax with the added security of keeping the original fax document in a SharePoint library.
Fax Library templates are included. These allow administrators to add fax functionality to SharePoint sites or collections of sites. The templates add the necessary fax interface to a document library so users can fax new or existing documents from the library. Templates includes a “Paper” content type for creating new documents, which includes fax sender and recipient information in its document properties, which are used for sending faxes.
