ProcessFlows Showcases Unified Comms Missing ‘Lync’

September 9, 2015

ProcessFlows Showcase the Unified Communications Missing ‘Lync’ at Skype for Business & Exchange conference

UC Day is a one-day Skype for Business & Exchange conference, which is taking place at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, on the 28th September 2015.

ProcessFlows is taking this opportunity to show delegates how the latest version of AVST’s unified communications solution, CX-E, seamlessly integrates with MS Skype for Business (previously Lync) and outline the new business opportunities that this will generate for UC Resellers from within a MS customer base.

The Skype drivers

In a move to reduce travel and improve operational efficiencies, businesses are increasingly switching to MS Skype for Business (either as their sole voice communications platform or as an addition to their existing PBX environment).

Microsoft Unified Communications provides a combined voice for millions of MS Office 365 users. The technology enables staff to work as usual and keep in touch, irrespective of their location or time zone.

Public Sector organisations regularly include voice mail in their processes to improve efficiency

Departments trusted with confidential information, such as Child Welfare and Family Information Services, are bound by strict compliance requirements relating to the processing, transfer and sharing of information, and this includes all voice data.

In order to meet these stringent compliance guidelines an ‘extra layer’ of voice processing security often becomes necessary.

AVST responded by developing a Skype for Business feature set within CX-E which provides:

  • Voicemail to support customer confidentiality and compliance requirements (where Exchange UM could not be used).
  • Enterprise-wide and departmental speech and DTMF automated attendant.
  • A full set of IVR and notification capabilities.
  • Informal Contact centre for improved Team Call handling.
  • Personal assistant to enable the mobile workforce.
  • Intelligent call completion based on user location, schedules and presence information – meaning the technology works without user intervention.

ProcessFlows UC customers and reseller partners have been invited. Anyone missing their invitation can contact ProcessFlows on +44 (0) 1962 835053 to request one.
