Luton Borough Council use ProcessFlows SMS Solution

Luton Borough Council has been using ProcessFlows SMS Solution supplied by Civica with their Public Protection application for over 3 years. SMS notifications are automatically sent to their Environmental Health officers who are out in the ‘field’.

The system is now being rolled out to the Council Tax Department and initial tests have come back with pleasing results.

The feedback from the pilot was ‘successful beyond even the most optimistic of expectations with a 50% payment take up on receipt.’

Not only has the response rate improved dramatically, but overheads have also been cut – The time spent and cost of sending a text message are far less than when compared to sending a letter.
