GENBAND Integrates with CX-E 8.6

February 11, 2015

Interoperability is key when it comes to building an effective communications system, no organisation wants to end up with a system where two components won’t work together.

Offering the very best in scalability, CX-E is the most resilient and interoperable Unified Communications solution on the market today.

With a processing capacity unmatched in the industry, and an array of tools ranging from a virtual personal assistant to voice user interface; companies looking for a cost-effective solution to consolidate their call processing and increase their productivity, need look no further than CX-E 8.6.

“We invested over the years in aligning CX-E with the biggest industry trends and IT priorities. That investment has paid off with our latest version addressing the needs of our customers who have business continuity and large capacity requirements and need a platform that supports public, private and hybrid cloud deployments. One of our largest healthcare customers is now fielding nearly two million calls a month, and we are pleased to offer them the ability to increase their call capacity.” – Tom Minifie, AVST Chief Technology Officer.

AVST’s release of CX-E 8.6 sees its integration with GENBAND CS2100. This announcement is just the latest in a series of integrations that are helping to cement AVST’s status as a pioneer of Simultaneous Call Integrations. In an industry where thorough performance and compatibility tests are central to business process, companies that already have interoperability qualifications are making the customers decision for them.

The large healthcare customer that Tom Minifie was referring to is a pertinent example of just how important this kind of versatility is. The account in question is one of the largest non-profit hospital systems in America. They approached AVST, with the hope of centralising their call processing operations, while also migrating to VoIP.

Thanks to AVST’s unmatchable level of interoperability, being able to work with GENBAND, which was currently in place and also NEC, they were the hospital’s first port of call. With a history of continuous innovation spanning over three decades, it looks like AVST are leading the way into the future of UC solutions.
