With the massive adoption of smartphones and tablets and a major shift towards mobile and BYOD printing, the need for a company to provide employees with an enterprise mobile printing solution, wherever they may be, is becoming necessary. Enterprise printing allows employees to be more productive whether they are on the road, at home or in the office. No more connecting to the network, downloading drivers or needing the help of IT just to print.
PrinterOn Enterprise printing solutions make it possible for employees and visitors to print to your corporate printers without having to connect to the corporate network – supporting a BYOD printing environment. Printing can be done from any smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC simply by emailing documents to a PrinterOn Enterprise-enabled printer, or by using one of the mobile printing apps available for BlackBerry, iOS and Android devices. PrinterOn Enterprise is an LDAP printing solution and all printing methods can be Active Directory or LDAP authenticated which gives you more control over printing and keeps costs inline.
PrinterOn Enterprise is designed to integrate with existing corporate user management systems such as Active Directory and other LDAP based services which provides a seamless integration with existing infrastructures.
In addition to providing integrated authentication services, PrinterOn Enterprise can integrate the mobile print workflow into existing print management, tracking or auditing services. This allows mobile users to access and print jobs using existing tools and services available from most 3rd party print management or printer vendors (including Equitrac).
PrinterOn Enterprise is designed to allow for growth and scalability as printing increases and mobile users are added. PrinterOn Enterprise is able to accommodate thousands of users and print devices within a single deployment.
The Enterprise solution can be deployed in a manner which provides a high level of redundancy including the ability to distribute jobs amongst multiple servers. Additional “processing servers” can be added to the service easily at any point in the future increasing capacity without interrupting service.
PrinterOn Enterprise is built on the same software and server architecture that is used to support our thousands of public cloud printing locations worldwide. This familiar user interface provides employees with a consistent experience whether they are printing in the Enterprise, at a public print location or from home.
