What’s in Store for RightFax This Year?

March 17, 2017

2016 marked the release of RightFax 10.6 Feature Pack 3, and the surge of downloads following the release signified the quality of its enhancements. 2017 will be even more exciting, as the next release (scheduled for April) will contain yet more improvements to the system. The End of Life of RightFax 10.5 at the close of last year opened new doors for improvement and innovation this year.

RightFax 10.6 Feature Pack 3 gave us Office 2016, Cisco/Avaya updated certifications, detailed conversion reporting, and so many more features that had been sought after. With last year’s pack in mind, there is so much to look forward to in 2017.

This year we’re welcoming RightFax 16.2 – but don’t panic! You’ve not somehow missed a few versions between 10.6 and 16.2; OpenText is aligning the new version with the product numbering of the rest of their range of solutions.

One of the most anticipated aspects of the next release is integration with OpenText Analytics. The upgrade will be able to deliver transactional data intelligence and volume trends, enabling users to build upon operational efficiency. The comprehensive view of system performance will allow users to identify and isolate operational issues faster than ever before. Decisions will become shrewder and more intelligent with hard data to drive them; better decisions lead to the kind of overall improvement that can spread throughout an entire organisation.

Other anticipated features include more administrator roles, stronger file management options and shared services licensing updates.

Windows Server 2016 will be supported and all certifications updated for SAP, Cisco and Avaya.

The exciting developments to come only serve to make ProcessFlows prouder of its status as OpenText’s EMEA Distributor. RightFax moves from strength to strength under the forward-thinking innovation of OpenText, and ProcessFlows can firmly say that this pattern of success will continue this year.
