Are You Maintaining Nortel Callpilot?

October 12, 2016

Upgrading your Nortel CallPilot customers is no longer a matter of communications budgets; it’s a matter of security and compliance. Microsoft Server 2003, the backbone of CallPilot, went end of life last year, so its security updates and support ended as well.

It’s now almost impossible for your customers to maintain compliance.

How do you service these customers? “Rip and replace” is an option, but this comes at a huge cost and investment.

There is another option:

  • Extend the life of the CS1000 (or other) telephony platform
  • Enhance it with new UC features with minimal disruption
  • Evolve to your next communications platform at your chosen pace

End of Compliance: Windows Server 2003

Support for Windows Server 2003 ended over a year ago, which means they can’t pass a compliance audit. Without security updates from Microsoft, both physical and virtual servers are extremely vulnerable.

That makes replacing CallPilot a priority: it is a matter of security and compliance. Consider budgeting it as such.

From Security Threat to Future-Proof

The CX-E platform from AVST replaces the Nortel CallPilot with minimal disruption to your customers.

CX-E provides the linchpin to future-proofing their next communications investment, integrating seamlessly with the Nortel CS1000 platform today and any telephony system they choose in the future – on-premise or cloud. Added to that, it runs on the latest version of Windows Server.

If you need to move on from the Windows 2003 server, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
